Replacement Activities in Class 2 and 3 Moderate Energy Systems (TAC No. MD3781)

Dear Sir or Madam:

In the referenced letter, Entergy Operations, Inc. (Entergy) requested the NRC staff to authorize the use of the risk-informed process contained in draft ASME Code Case N-752, Risk-Informed Safety Classificationand Treatment for Repair/ Replacement Activities in Class2 and 3 Moderate Energy Systems, for Arkansas Nuclear One, Unit 2 (ANO-2).

Subsequent to our request, the full ASME Code Committee has chosen not to approve this code case. Since the request was based on the approval of a draft code case, Energy is withdrawing this request.
