In a telephone conversation conducted on May 6, 2004, NRC staff representatives provided to Entergy Operations, Inc. (Entergy) verbal approval to use Requests for Altematives ANO1 -R&R-005 and ANOI -R&R-006 for Arkansas Nuclear One, Unit 1 (ANO-1). In that conversation, the staff requested that Entergy provide the heats of material for the ANO-1 reactor pressure vessel (RPV) head penetration nozzles. This requested information is provided in the enclosure to this letter.
