NOTIFICATION OF CHANGES TO EMERGENCY RESPONSE DATA SYSTEM The Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) is planning to implement changes to the Emergency Response Data System (ERDS) applicable to the Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant, Units 1, 2, and 3, the Sequoyah Nuclear Plant, Units 1 and 2, and the Watts Bar Nuclear Plant, Units 1 and 2. This letter provides prior notification of the changes in accordance with the requirements of 10 CFR 50 Appendix E.VI.3.b.

The planned TVA ERDS software change will include a complete replacement of the TVA software that provides the interface between nuclear plant data and the NRC ERDS. This software change will not alter the data points, the data format, or the data transmission protocol.
