Company has submitted to the Nuclear--Regul'atory Commission its response to items 2 and 3.-in Attachment 1 of the Commission's Order.{CL-1-80-30) dated November 19, 1981.

I under-stand

that, PGSE provided copies of this response to your office on December 8,

)981.

The Commission's order provides you a period of fifteen days from receipt of the response for filing written comments with the NRC.

I would appreciate an opportunity to discuss your views on the company's proposed contractors and verification program.

Such a

meeting with you or your representatives during the comment period would be desirable.

I anticipate Commission consideration of PGSE's

response, and written comments, shortly after the first of the year.
