The purpose of this letter is to withdraw the referenced submittal from NRC consideration This submittal requested relief from the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code,Section XI, Rules for Inservice Inspection of Nuclear Power Plant Components, on the basis that compliance with the specified requirements for pressure testing buried piping would result in hardship or unusual difficulty without a compensating increase in the level of quality and safety In discussions between Exelon Generation Company, LLC (EGC) and NRC representatives, the NRC indicated that additional information is required to support the review of the referenced subniittal. EGC will be providing the necessary additional information in a revised relief request; therefore, the referenced submittal is being withdrawn.
