Vermont Yankee Registration of Spent Fuel Cask Use Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Station Docket No. 50-271 License No. DPR-28 Dear Sir or Madam; Entergy Nuclear Operations, Inc. operates the Vermont Yankee (VY) Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation in accordance with the general license provisions of 10CFR72.
The conditions of 10CFR72.212(b)(1)(ii) include the registration of a spent fuel cask within 30 days of using a cask for storage of spent nuclear fuel. The fuel contained in the cask is from the VY Nuclear Power Station.
Accordingly, this letter hereby registers the use of the ninth VY dry fuel storage cask.
This letter also provides the following registration information:
