AREVA Inc., Standardized NUHOMS Cask System, Certficate of Compliance No. 1004, Amendment No. 14, and Revision 1 to the Initial Certificate, Amendment Nos. 1 Through 11, and Amendment No. 13, January 25, 2017 Ladies and Gentlemen:

Pursuant to 10 CFR 72.212(b)(2), Duke Energy Progress, LLC (Duke Energy), provides notification that the 32 NUHOMS-61BTH spent fuel storage casks loaded at the Brunswick Steam Electric Plant (BSEP), which were previously registered to Certificate of Compliance (CoC) No. 1004, Amendment 10 (i.e., Reference 1), are now registered to CoC No. 1004, Amendment 10, Revision 1 (i.e., Reference 2). The Revision 1 change to CoC No. 1004, Amendment 10, was addressed in Reference 3. A list of the BSEP Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation (ISFSI) registered casks is enclosed.

No new regulatory commitments are contained in this letter.
