On June 3, 2014 (i.e., Reference 1), Duke Energy provided estimated schedules of examinations and number of applicants for operator license examinations for calendar years 2016 through 2019. This information was voluntarily submitted in response to NRC Regulatory Issue Summary 2014-05, Preparation and Scheduling of Operator Licensing Examinations (i.e.,

Reference 2).

Enclosed is updated information on the number of operator license applicants and the proposed examination dates for calendar years 2016 through 2019, as well as the number of candidates for the generic fundamentals examination in calendar years 2016 and 2017. The enclosed information supersedes, in its entirety, the number of applicants and schedules provided as part of the June 3, 2014, letter.

This documents contains no regulatory commitments.
