Brunswick Steam Electric Plant, Unit Nos. 1 and 2 Docket Nos. 50-325 and 50-324/License Nos. DPR-71 and DPR-62 Revision to Plant Security Event Procedure Ladies and Gentlemen:
In accordance with 10 CFR 50.4(b)(5)(iii), 10 CFR 50, Appendix E, Section V, and
.NRC Regulatory Issue Summary 2004-15, Supplement 1, "Emergency Preparedness Issues: Post'9/1 1," dated May 25, 2006, Carolina Power & Light Company, now doing business as Progress Energy Carolinas, Inc., is submitting revisions to Brunswick Steam Electric Plant, Unit Nos. 1 and 2, Abnormal Operating Procedure OAOP-40.0, "Security Events." A list of the revisions is provided as Enclosure 1. A summary of the revisions is provided as Enclosure 2. Enclosure 3 contains a copy of the revised procedure.
Enclosures 2 and 3 contain information that has been deemed sensitive to BSEP's physical protection. Therefore, CP&L requests that Enclosures 2 and 3 be withheld from public disclosure in accordance with 10 CFR 2.390(d)(1).
