On February 25, 2002, the NRC issued a letter

Subject:

"Issuance of Order for Interim Safeguards and Secunty Compensatory Measures for - Brunswick Steam Electric Plant Units 1 & 2."Section III, C.1 of the order required Carolina Power & Light (CP&L)

Company, within 20 days, to submit to the NRC a schedule for achieving compliance with each requirement described in Attachment 2. The schedule for BSEP, Units 1 and 2, was enclosed in letter SERIAL: BSEP 02-0057, "Twenty-Day Response to Order for Interim Safeguards and Security Compensatory Measures for - Brunswick Steam Electnc Plant Units 1 & 2," dated March 15, 2002.

Section III, C.2 of the order requires that CP&L report to the NRC when full compliance with the requirements described in Attachment 2 has been achieved. CP&L hereby notifies the NRC that full compliance with the requirements described in Attachment 2 of the order has been achieved. No commitments are contained in this submittal.
