The purpose of this letter is to submit, in accordance with Technical Specification 6.9.3.4, a revised i
copy of the Core Operating Limits Report for the Brunswick Steam Electric Plant, Unit 2. A copy of the 1
" Brunswick Unit 2, Cycle 11 Core Operating Limits Report," August 1995, Revision 1, approved August 8,1995, is provided in Enclosure 1. The Core Operating Limits Report is being updated to revise operating limits for the GE 7 fuel type (BP8DRB299). There is only one bundle of this type in the Cycle 11 core. This bundle's MAPLHGR curve has been revised as a result of extending the thermal-mechanical curve's peak-pellet exposure limit from 50 to 57 GWd/MT, The extension, which takes credit for past operation at lower power levels than assumed in the original analysis, is being implemented due to the Unit 2 power coast that will occur prior to the upcoming refueling outage.
