in the areas of safety, operations, and cost performance, and to sustain in that time period

achievement. ' Ibis is a comprehensive improvement plan for BNP, and it incorporates and 34 wg,. des outstanding items from the Inigf.ied Action Plan.

Details of activities and schedules in the plan for 1994 and 1995 are not yet as complete and well defined as for 1993. In September 1993, l

after progress has been demnnetrataA, BNP will revise the Three-Year Plan to provide datailed task descriptions and updated schedules for 1994 and 1995. Further, BNP management willcloseJy monitor work under this plan to ensure that the plan is kept up to date and the effort remains focused on achieving the desired results. This will result in periodic changes to the plan, but such changes willbe carefully considered before they are made and will be made in accordance with the change puccss set fonh in the plan.

We willkeep you and your staff periodically informed on the status of plan initiatives and prajects and willdiscuss with you the ehlichment of trackmg milestones, procedures for attemng our progress in achieving desired results, and other aspects of the plan. We would like to meet with you and your staff at your convenience to discuss these matters.
