On July 17, 2007, commencing at 10:00 a.m. and concluding later the same day, the Licensing Board will hold oral argument on the pending petition for hearing of the North Carolina Waste Awareness and Reduction Network and the Nuclear Information and Resource Service in the above-captioned matter, at a location to be announced, in the general vicinity of the Shearon Harris plant. At a later date, the Board may specify particular issues on which it will ask the parties to focus, and set time limits on the arguments of the parties. The Licensing Board will also hold a limited appearance session in the late afternoon and evening of July 17, at the same location, pursuant to a Notice soon to be published in the Federal Register.
