Dear Sir:
Reference A requested Florida Power Corporation (FPC) to provide additional information to facilitate the completion of the NRC staff's review of the Crystal River Unit 3 (CR-3) Fifth Tendon Surveillance Report (Reference B).
FPC is reviewing your request for information and will provide a response by December 15, 1994. The majority of the information requested is based upon the guidance of Regulatory Guide (RG) 1.35 Revision 3.
The guidance in the RG was not the licensing basis of CR-3 when the surveillance was performed. Nevertheless, FPC will provide the requested information unless its generation is prohibitely expensive. If such is the case, we will discuss it with our NRC project manager prior to its submittal.
Sincerely.
P. M. Beard, Jr.
