Dear Sir:
Florida Power Corporation (FPC) provides this notification in accordance with the referenced generic letter to inform the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) that FPC has elected to utilize an optical disk document imaging ' system for storage and retrieval of quality assurance records.
This system is in addition to hardcopy storage and storage on microfilm, but will be the primary means of storage. FPC has addressed each of the " appropriate quality controls" noted in Generic Letter 88-18 in implementing procedures.
