Enclosed is Florida Power Corporation's check 1854481 in.the amount of
$46,243.00 as full payment for invoice number 1597W.
Please note this payment is made under protest; the basis for protest is described in our April 16,1986 letter (Letter No. 3F0486-07).
Our letter, requesting interviews during which we would expect to complete the specification of FPC's indebtedness and verify the processes involved in invoicing, was issued immediately upon receipt of invoice 0784W.
Additional information has been received in the form of the NRC's letter of July 23, 1986 from C. James Holloway, Jr., Acting Director License Fee Management Staff.
Response to-date has not included granting of an interview.
In addition, by copy of this transmittal letter to the NRC License Fee Management Staff, we note the continued delay in issuing invoices.
