Thermo-Lag and Mecatiss Fire Endurance Tests Plan

FPC to NRC letter, 3F0395-11, dated March 6, 1995
Dear Sir:
In the above referenced letter, Florida Power Corporation (FPC) informed the NRC of our intent to perform fire endurance tests of Thermo-Lag and Mecatiss Fire barriers.
Attachments 1 and 2 provide our Test Plan and Test Schedule, respectively.
Testing will be conducted at Underwriters Laboratory in Northbrook, Illinois.
FPC requests the NRC Staf f review the Test Plan and provide us with any comments that you may have.
You will note that we are pursuing an aggressive test schedule, and would appreciate your comments in a timely manner in order to incorporate any changes that may be necessary. FPC will be pleased to have the NRC Staff witness any aspects of our test preparation or test performance.
