Crystal River Unit 3 - Physical Security Plan, Revision 7-8
Dear Sir:
Pursuant to the provisions of 10 CFR 50.54(p), Florida Power Corporation (FPC) hereby submits Revision 7-8, to the Crystal River Unit 3 (CR-3) Physical Security Plan (PSP). The changes that are being made to the CR-3 PSP do not decrease the effectiveness of the Plan.
This submittal replaces the current revision to the CR-3 PSP, Revision 7-7, in its entirety.
This revision adds the DD-214 exception. This exception will be implemented by a Progress Energy Access Authorization procedure upon similar PSP revisions at all the Progress Energy nuclear power plants.
The CR-3 PSP is divided into two parts. Part One, when separated from the composite Plan, is a decontrolled document and can be treated as non-Safeguards Information. Part Two of the Plan contains Safeguards Information :and is considerably smaller than Part One.
Consequently, the handling and vulnerability, of Safeguards Information is greatly reduced. The Safeguards section of this document is appropriately designated and, as such, should be withheld from public disclosure and protected in accordance with 10 CFR 73.21.
