Title

Failure to Incorporate Design Information Into System Test Procedures

Description

The inspectors identified a Green,non-cited violation of 10 CFR 50, Appendix B, Criterion XI, Test Control, for the licensees failure to ensure that station test procedures incorporated all requirements contained in applicable design documents. Specifically, the stations test procedures for the component cooling water system failed to test the safeguards loops supply and return train isolation valves for leakage. Excess leakage from these valves could prevent the performance of a safety function. This finding was entered into the licensees corrective action program as Condition Report CR-2017-012024.
