Inadequate Acceptance Criteria for Testing of NSCW Pump Discharge Valves

Description

An NRC identified Green NCV of 10 CFR 50.55a(f), "Inservice testing(IST)requirements," subsection (4), American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Operation and Maintenance of Nuclear Power Plants (OM) code Subsection ISTC-5122, Stroke Acceptance Criteria, was identified for the licensees failure to incorporate adequate acceptance criteria for exercise testing of NSCW pump discharge valves into procedures. Specifically, the licensee failed to incorporate acceptance criteria for stroke close exercise testing into in-service test procedures and used inadequate reference values when determining the HIGH/LOW code allowable limits for the stroke open exercise testing.
