Failure to Promptly Identify and Correct a Condition Adverse to Quality

Description

The inspectors identified a Green NCV of 10 CFR Part 50, Appendix B, Criterion XVI, Corrective Action, for the licensees failure to promptly identify and correct a condition adverse to quality associated with low resistance readings for core exit thermocouples (CET) identified during testing on January 30, 2018. Specifically, the licensee failed to declare two CETs inoperable when resistance readings were outside of the acceptance criteria until April 9, 2018.
