| Description | Licensee TS 5.7.1 requires that each HRA as defined in 10 CFR 20 be barricaded and conspicuously posted as an HRA. Contrary to the above, on November 9, 2007, after demobilizing a work area around the spent fuel pool, the licensee left a box of fuel inspection equipment unattended on the refuel floor. This action created an HRA accessible to plant personnel on the refuel floor and resulted in an unposted and unbarricaded HRA. Immediate corrective actions included posting and controlling the box of fuel handling equipment as an HRA and performance management of the individuals involved. The violation is of very low safety significance because the problem did not cause an overexposure, a substantial potential for an overexposure, or compromise the licensees ability to assess dose. The licensee entered this issue into their corrective action program as CARD 07-27315 |
