Dear Dr. Murley:

In References (a) through (c), pursuant to 10 CFR 50.90, Commonwealth Edison Company (CECO) proposed to amend Appendix A, Technical Specifications of Facility Operating Licenses NPF-37/66 and NPF-72/77 for Byron /Braidwood Stations. The proposed amendment of Reference (a) and (b) will allow a setpoint change for the Unit 1 Model D-4 Heam Generators level instrumentation, while the proposed amendment of Reference (c) will allow a setpoint change for the Unit 2 Model D-5 Steam Generators level Instrumentation at each plant. Each of these amendments will affect only one unit's license, yet affect common pages in each cf the separate Technical Specifications books being maintained at NRR. Commonwealth Edison requests that after each amendment is appiSved that both unit / license specific Technical Specification books for each station be updated with the amended pages. This request is solely administrative in nature. There is therefore no change in the no bignificant hazards consideration determination of the previous submittals.
