Pre-Submittal Meeting with DTE Energy to Discuss Fermi 2's Plans to Submit a New License Amendment Request Date(s) and Time(s): February 19, 2019, 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Location: NRC One White Flint North, 14D03 11555 Rockville Pike Rockville, MD Category: This is a Category 1 meeting. The public is invited to observe this meeting and will have one or more opportunities to communicate with the NRC after the business portion of the meeting but before the meeting is adjourned.

Purpose:

Fermi 2 is proposing to submit a License Amendment Request to use a risk-informed analysis of the impact of additional emergency core cooling system strainer debris that is beyond the current design basis values. Results of the analysis will provide the justification for the additional debris sources in the license amendment in accordance with Regulatory Guide 1.174.
