Dear Sir or Madam:

On March 12, 2012, the NRC issued Reference 1 to all power reactor licensees. of Reference 1 requested that each licensee perform flood protection walkdowns. Entergy Operations, Inc. (Entergy) completed the flood protection walkdowns at Arkansas Nuclear One (ANO) and submitted the results in Reference 2.

Reference 2 contained a commitment to perform inspections where restricted access prevented walkdown of certain flood protection features. Walkdowns of the restricted access features have been completed.

0CAN111302 Page 2 of 3 Subsequent review of the Flooding Walkdown Reports revealed some discrepancies which have been entered into the Corrective Action Program. In addition, Entergy has verbally committed to providing a response to the NRC following the guidance in Frequently Asked Question 30 to address available physical margin by February 28, 2014. Entergy will provide revised Flooding Walkdown Reports (previously provided in Reference 2) for the ANO units including the restricted access features walkdown results and the resolved discrepancies along with the available physical margin submittal by February 28, 2014.

This letter contains a new regulatory commitment, which is identified in the attachment.

Should you have any questions regarding this submittal, please contact Stephenie Pyle at 479.858.4704.

I declare under penalty of perjury that the foregoing is true and correct. Executed on November 26, 2013.

Sincerely, Original signed by Jeremy G. Browning JGB/nbm
