Licensee reported a live sea turtle capture at the plant intake. Per
licensee procedure, they
notified the National Marine Fisheries. Licensee operating staff is
awaiting arrival of the plant
biologist to determine type of sea turtle and injuries (if any). The
turtle has no apparent injuries, according to operations staff.
The licensee has notified the NRC Resident Inspector. Sent copy of log notice to Endangered
Species group.
