ThepurposeofthisletteristoprovideNiagaraMohawk'ssafetyassessment andplansforimplementing therequested licenseeactionscontained inGenericLetter94-03forNineMilePointUnit1.BasedontheBWROwners'roup (BWROG)ShroudCrackingGenericAssessment andtheresultsofthesafetyassessment forNineMilePointUnit1enclosedasAttachment A,NiagaraMohawkhasdetermined thatcontinued operation ofNineMilePointUnit1isjustified untiltheinspection ofthecoreshroudscheduled fortheFebruary1995refueling outage.Thecoreshroudinspection planwillbebasedontherecommendations oftheBWRVesselandInternals Project(BWRVIP),
