b.TheSeniorVicePresident, Production andEngineering, shallhavecorporate responsibility foroverallPlantnuclearsafety,andshalltakeanymeasuresneededtoassureacceptable performance ofthestaffinoperating, maintaining, andproviding technical supportinthePlantsothatcontinued nuclearsafetyisassured.c.ThePlantManager,GinnaStationshallhaveresponsibility foroverallunitoperation andshallhavecontroloverthoseresources necessary forsafeoperation andmaintenance ofthePlant.Amendment No.gg6.2-1Proposed.

'6.7.1Thefollowing actionsshallbetakenintheeventaSafetyLimitisviolated:

a.Theprovisions of10CFRSection50.36(c)(1)(i) shallbecompliedwithimmediately.

b.TheSafetyLimitviolation shallbereportedtotheSeniorVicePresident, Production andEngineering, totheNSARBandtotheCommission immediately.

c.ASafetyLimitViolation Reportshallbeprepared.

Thereportshallbereviewed.

bythePORC.Thisreportshalldescribe(1)applicable circumstances preceding theviolation, (2)effectsoftheviolation uponfacilitycomponents, systemsorstructures, and(3)corrective actiontakentopreventrecurrence.

d.TheSafetyLimitViolation Reportshallbesubmitted totheCommission, theNSASB,andtheSeniorVicePresident, Production and.Engineering withintwoweeksoftheviolation.

Amendment No.gg6.7-1Proposed ATTACHEIE2lT BThissafetyevaluation addresses aproposedrevisions toSection6oftheGinnaTechnical Specifications concerning anadministrative changeintitlefromVicePresident, Production andEngineering toSeniorVicePresident, Production andEngineering.

Thisproposedamendment hasbeenreviewedagainstthethreefactorsof10CFR50.92.

Ithasbeendetermined thattheamendment doesnotinvolveasignificant hazardsconsideration forthefollowing reasons.1.Thischangewillnotresultinasignificant increaseintheprobability orconsequences ofanaccidentpreviously evaluated.

Theproposedrevisiondoesnotinvolvethephysicalmodification ofthePlantorequipment.

Theproposedchangeisadministrative innatureandaffectsnoanalysesorresponses ofthePlanttoaccidentconditions.

2.Thesechangeswillnotcreatethepossibility ofanewordifferent kindofaccidentpreviously evaluated.

Asindicated above,theproposedrevisiontotheTechnical'pecifications doesnotinvolveaphysicalmodification tothePlantthatcouldresultinthecreationofanaccidentnotpreviously analyzed.

3.Thischangedoesnotinvolveasignificant reduction inthemarginsofsafety.TheproposedrevisiondoesnotinanywayalterRG&E'scommitment tomaintaining amanagement structure thatcontributes tothesafeoperation andmaintenance ofGinnaStation.
