WhenAFWdirectedtoasteamgenerator isstoppedandthereactorcoolantsystemtemperature isincreasing, procedures requiretheOperations Department tochecktheAFWlinetemperature 30minutesand90minutesafterstoppingtheAFWpump.Procedures thatrequirethischeckare1-OHP4021.056.002, 2-OHP4021.056.002, 1-OHP4030.STP.017T, 2-OHP4030.STP.017T, 1-0HP4030.STP.017R, 2-OHP4030.STP.017R, and1-OHP4021.001.006.

Operations procedures 1-OHP4022.056.001 and2-0HP4022.056.001, "SteamBindinginAuxiliary FeedPumps"provideguidanceforrecognizing steambindingandforrestoring theAFWpumptooperablestatusifsteambindingweretooccur.Reference tothisgenericletterwillbeincorporated intotheaboveprocedures inthenextbiennialreviewtoassurethattheprocedures willbeSS060601$
