BasedonthenumberoexampleEALs,andthenumberoossandpotentiallossconditions,thesetofconditionsthatcanyieldagivenemergencyclassificationcanbedetermined.Anevaluationofeachconditionorsetofconditionswasmadetodetermineifitproperlydefinestheappropriatethresholdforthedassification.Ifaconditionorsetofconditionswasappropriate,acommentreflectingthisconclusionwasrecordedinthisdocument,Ifaconditionorsetofconditionsisdeterminedtobeinappropriate,itislinedoutandthereasonforthisconclusionissimilarlyrecorded.P2ELBSincetheformatpresentedinNUMARC/NESP-007isinadequateforimplementation;theEALs.defined-by-the.PEG-andFPBE-mustbebinnedintocategoriesandsubcategorieswhichsupporteaseofuse.ThebinningdocumentidentifieswhereeachPEG/FPBEInitiatingConditions(IC)isaddressedwithinthepresentationscheme,NMP2EALTechnicalBasesDocumentTheEALTechnicalBasesDocumentprovidesanexplanationandrationaleforeachoftheemergencyactionlevel(EALs)includedintheEALUpgradeProgram.ItisalsointendedtofacilitatethereviewprocessoftheNMP2EALsandprovidehistoricaldocumentationforfuturereference.ThisdocumentisalsointendedtobeusedbythoseindividualsresponsibleforimplementationoftheNMP2dassificationprocedureasatechnicalreferenceandaidinEALinterpretation.NMP2EmerenAionLevelMatrixTheEmergencyActionLevelMatrixistheuserlevelresultoftheEALdevelopmentproject.ThismatrixwillbeincorporatedintheEmergencyPlanImplementingProceduresandisuseddirectlybyoperationspersonneltoclassifyanevent.P2Vr'liiTheNMP2VerificationandValidabonReportdocumentstheprocessconductedtoverifyandtovalidatethesitespecificEALsandsupportingdocumentation,Thisdocumentalsoincludesthecommentsreceivedduringvalidationalongwithcommentresolutions.TheverificationprocesswasperformedtoensuretheNMP2EALsandclassificationproceduresaretechnicallycorrect.TheNMP2EALverificationwasconductedpriortotheEALvalidationexercises.ThetechnicalaccuracyoftheupgradedEALswereverifiedthroughtabletopreviews.
