Purpose:
NRC staff and representatives of Florida Power & Light Company (FPL, the licensee) will discuss planned changes to the large outdoor tank inspections at Turkey Point Nuclear Generating Unit Nos. 3 and 4. The licensee is proposing to use a combination of deterministic and probabilistic insights to implement a risk-informed approach to reduce the number of required internal tank inspections.
