Crystal River Partial Site Release Comment Request The NRC is planning to approve a request submitted by Accelerated Decommissioning Partners Crystal River Unit 3, LLC (ADP-CR3) for the Crystal River Unit 3 nuclear plant on February 10, 2025 (ADAMS Package Accession No. ML25041A177). ADP-CR3 requested to remove 618 acres of property, classi"ed as either radiologically non-impacted or Multi-Agency Radiation Survey and Site Investigation Manual Class 3, associated with the Crystal River Unit 3 Operating License. In addition, the application requested the NRC to remove another 3,854 acres of property, classi"ed as radiologically non-impacted, from the Crystal River Unit 3 Operating License as approved on January 2, 2020 (ADAMS Accession No. ML19339G509). On June 18, ADP-CR3 submitted an update to their application (ADAMS Package Accession No. ML25170A017). ADP-CR3 copied the State of Florida when sending both submittals to the NRC. The NRC noticed the request in the Federal Register on May 14, 2025.
