The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission staff, based o'n its review of Atlas Corporation's l
request by letter dated December 19,1997, hereby amends Condition 55A.(1), of Source
!
Material License Number SUA 917, for the Moab, Utah, uranium mill. The amendment extends the milestone for completion of windblown tailings retrieval and placement on the pile, to December 31, 2000.
The enclosed Technical Evaluation Report contains the staffs assessment of the licensing
!
action. The license is being reissued to incorporate the requested change, and is enclosed. If
!
