Dear Mr. Skolds:
We have rescheduled a radiation protection inspection at your Quad Cities Station, Units 1 and 2, that was to occur the week of August 11, 2003, due to temporary personnel reassignments in the Plant Support Branch. This change was communicated during a telephone conversation between Mr. A. Fuhs of your staff and Mr. J. House on July 28, 2003. The radiation protection inspection (IP 71121.01 and 71122.03), which will cover access control to radiologically significant areas and the Radiological Environmental Monitoring Program, will be combined with the inspection scheduled for November 17, 2003, and will begin November 12, 2003. If you have any questions concerning this information, please contact J. House of my staff at (630) 829-9824.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRCs "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of NRCs document system (ADAMS). ADAMS is accessible from the NRC Web site at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html (the Public Electronic Reading Room).
