Dear Sir:
Pursuant to the provisions of 10 CFR §50.54(p), Florida Power Corporation, now doing business as Progress Energy Florida, Inc. (PEF), hereby resubmits the CD-ROM containing Revision 3 to the Crystal River Unit 3 (CR-3) Physical Security Plan (PSP) and Revision 3 to the CR-3 Safeguards Contingency Plan (SCP). The attached enclosure replaces the referenced letter and the associated CD-ROM, in their entirety.
The CD-ROM that was submitted to the NRC by letter dated June 30, 2005, was packaged and handled as containing Safeguards Information.
Due to an administrative oversight, the text "Safeguards Information" was omitted from the header and footer of the CR-3 PSP and SCP, Revision 3 and the CR-3 PSP-SCP Change Page matrix contained within the CD-ROM of the referenced submittal. This oversight has been rectified and the addition of the "Safeguards Information" text to the header and footer to both plans and the Change Page matrix are the only changes that have been made on the attached CD-ROM.
Therefore, the changes that were made to the CR-3 PSP and CR-3 SCP do not decrease the effectiveness of the Plans.
One (1) CD-ROM is included as part of this submission. The CD-ROM labeled, "CR-3 Letter 3F0805-10/CR-3 PSP, Revision 3 and CR-3 SCP, Revision 3," contains the following three (3) files:
