DPR-70 AND DPR-75 By lette dated November 16, 2005, PSEG Nuclear LLC (PSEG) requested relief from American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Section Vill, Division 1, UG-27.
This relief request was submitted to align the design pressure of the Component Cooling Heat Exchangers with the remainder of the Service Water System. This relief request was submitted under section 1 OCFR 50.55a(a)(3)(i).
Following discussions with the staff, PSEG has decided to withdraw this relief request and pursue other regulatory processes to achieve this change.
PSEG will notify the NRC if future staff approval is necessary.
