CR3 Status Lou/Chris Chris/Lou Anthony and I attended the 7:30 status meeting conducted by Garry Mil!er-Yesterday the CTL technicians completed NDE (using the impulse-response (IR) method) in Panels F, I, L, 0, R, U, X, AA, AB, AC, and part of AD between Buttresses #2 and #3. In addition Panels AB, AC, and AD between Buttresses #6 and #1 and Panels AB, AC, and AD between Buttresses #1 and #2 were completed. Also, three core bores were completed (#32, in Panel F; #27, and #28, in Panel L) in the bay between Buttresses #3 and #4, the bay with the delamination problem. The resultant holes are scheduled to be visually examined with a boroscope today.

Upon removal of an electrical conduit just above the equipment hatch, the NDE work will shift to the area below Panels Y, Z, and AA in an effort to precisely identify the limits of the delamination. Also, part of Panel S not previously NDEd is scheduled to be done today. (See page 3 of the attachment for a good idea of where these locations are on-the Containment Building.)

NDE efforts are currently expected to continue into early next week.

Lift-off data is scheduled to be obtained today from tendons of the 42H series (five above and five below the construction opening) to support the Root Cause Analysis contractor (PII)

Future work includes an OD-ID survey of the containment building and additional coring.
