RII:EHW 50-335/79-09 Florida Power 8 Light Company has reviewed the subject Bulletin regarding General Electric Model AK-2 circuit breakers.
We have determined that GE Model AK-2A circuit breakers are currently installed as part of the St.
Lucie Unit 1 reactor trip switchgear.
A plant work order has been issued to perform the checks described in GE Service Advice Letter No.
175 (CPDD) 9.3 during the current (1979) refueling outage.
These same checks will be incorporated into the periodic switch-gear mai ntenance procedure prior to the next
( 1980) refueling outage.
