In accordance with Technical Specifications (TS) 6.9.1.6.4, Carolina Power Ec Light Company (CPAL) hereby submits a mid-cycle revision to the Harris Nuclear Plant (HNP) Cycle 9 Core Operating Limits Report (COLR).
Revision 1 to the COLR revises the Movable Incore Detection System operability requirements to specify that at least 44 detector thimbles are required at the beginning of a fuel cycle. This change provides assurance that a potential misloaded core would either be detected or accommodated without fuel failure.
