[External_Sender] San Onofre proposed Storage canisters Thank you for allowing me to *comment. I am on the City Council of Laguna Woods and we wrote a Resolution regarding storing the waste safely. We wanted monitoring, and monitors are on the thick casks. Thick casks are transportable and survived Fukushima.
These thin casks are subject to cracking, not repairable or transportable and the fuel pools will*be removed.
We do not want this to be an interim Storage site, but if it is, we want to be safe. Please don't allow our county to be so endangered for so long.
