Submittal of Safety Analysis Report for the 1105-SD Package, Rev. 0, Docket No. 71-9379
Dear Mr. White:
Orano Federal Services LLC (Orano FS) hereby submits the Safety Analysis Report (SAR}for the 1105-SD for approval as a Type B(U)-96 Package. The 1105-SD package is to be understood as the commercial version of the NNSA' s 435-B package. The 1105-SD package is identical tq the 435-B package defined by the 435-B SAR, Revision 4.3, NRC Do.cket 71-9355. Revision 4.3 of the 435-B SAR corresponds to NRC Certificate of Compliance USA/9355/B(U)-96, Revision 2. The 1105-SD SAR, Rev. 0 was created by making only the changes to the 435-B SAR, Rev. 4.3, which were necessary to change its identity and to update some references.
To assist the staff in reviewing the 1105-SD SAR, a detailed roadmap of changes made to the 435-B SAR, Rev. 4.3, is provided as Attachment A.
Included with this letter is one paper copy of the 1105-SD SAR and one CD containing the PDF file "1105-SD SAR, Complete, Rev. O.pdf' (32,191 kb, 495
. pages). The CD is contained within an envelope labeled, "1105-SD package SAR Revision 0, Electronic Copy of Document, Docket 71-9379".
