Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station Docket No. 50-219 Inservice Inspection Program In order to ecmply with Title 10 Code of Federal Regulations, Section 50.55 a (g) which requires periodic update of the Inservice Inspection Program for the Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station, Jersey Central Power & Light Company is currently preparing a revised Inservice Inspection Program which, when implemented, will meet all applicable code requirements except for specific requests for relief.
Based upon the date of commencement of commercial operation of the Oyster Creek Station, this revised ISI program will beccr.e effective on December 8,1979 Three months before this effective date, the revised program will be submitted to the Conmission for review and approval.
khen this revised program becomes effective, it will supersede the ISI program outlined in Request for Amendment to Provisional Operating Licensing No. DPR-16, Revision 4 to Technical Specification Change Request No. 28 submitted to the Commission on June 15, 1978.
Having reviewed the Technical Specifications, JCP&L has determined that there will be no conflict between the revised ISI program and other Technical Specifications requirements.
