- 13. 1977, Duke Pom r Company ty letter dated Anuary(licensee) submitted a respon Description of Rcquest:
Car lettcr requested a re-Decerbar 6, 1976.
cvaluation of the Oconee ECCS cooling performance using an I:RC staff approved redel that does not use a nucleate boiling heat transfer correlation during blowdown after critical heat flux has been predicted.
The licensee states that no change ocucrs to the peak clad terperature at the two and six foot Station Technical Specifications remain valid to assure that tha requireccnts of Appendix K to 10 CFR 50 ara nat.
i It is requested that you review the licensee's 1
submittal and determine if the conclusions reached,
are valid. Please provide with a uritten evaluation.
This submittal is in response to a URC generic request and as indicated by the licensee's letter; BW has also submitted an ECCS model change.
