February 9, 1977 LER 77-03/03L EVENT DESCRIFFION During nomal operation the Primary Vent Stack Monitor Particulate Channel failed to meet the acceptance criteria of the channel functional test. A grab sample was analyzed, results satisfactory. No releases were in progress at the time of the failure and all planned releases were cancelled.

i The channel was adjusted and tested, the results met the acceptance criteria. This item will be a repetitive item in that the plant is experiencing temperature problems in this instrument. This probica is presently undergoing evaluation and a modification has been proposed by the plant.
