Dear Mr. Crouse:

=

By letter dated July 1,1980, we forwarded a request for infonnation regarding the Fuel Assently Holddown Spring failures at Davis-Besse.

We have reviewed your response of July 18, 1980, and consider that the matter of failed springs at your facility has been addressed satis-factorily in all respects. Based upon your commitment in your July 10, 1980, submittal to video inspect all Cycle 2 fuel assemblies at the second refueling outage, we consider this matter closed.

Sincerely, Q
