Docket No. 50-395-OL l

Gentlemen:

Enclosed herewith is a copy of a letter dated June 5, 1981 i

l from the Applicants to Mr. Denton of the NRC Staff regarding the l

estimated schedule for readiness for fuel loading.

The November, 1981 estimate represents a three month slippage from the Appli-cant's previous estimated date of August, 1981 and a one month slippage from the Staff's estimated date of October, 1981, both as previously reported to the Board.

It may be noted in this connection, that licensing rather

[

than construction readiness has heretofore been, and remains, I

the pacing item for commercial operation.

Accordingly, che l

estimated commercial operation date remains unchanged as June, 1982.

We understand that costs associated with the delay l

in commercial operation beyond June, 1982, as previously presented I

to the Board were underestimated.

A revised estimate, including 810612o E -
