South Texas Project Units 1 & 2 Docket Nos. STN 50-498, STN 50-499 Beam to Column Connection Design in the Reactor Containment Building Houston Lightin & Power Company (HL&P) has reviewed the October 26, 1981 s

letter from your Mr. W. C. Seidle regarding HL&P's " Final Report Concerni g n

Beam to Column Connection Design in the Reactor Containment Building." Per the request of the October 26, 1981 letter, HL&P will submit a supplement to our Final Report in order to provide your office with more infonnation.

The current Transition schedule calls for the Work Package related to this deficiency to be submitted to Bechtel from Brown & Root by April 30, 1982.

Once received, Bechtel will review the Work Package and develop the supplement for submittal to NRC by August 23, 1982.
