Dear Mr. Keppler:
Our final report to you dated June 10, 1983, concerning cooling of the Reactor Core Isolation Cooling (RCIC) room during Loss of Cooling Accident (LOCA) conditions stated that the anticipated completion of corrective action relative to this subject would be by July 29, 1983.
As discused between Mr. B. D. Walrath of The Cleveland Electric Illuminating Company and Mr. P. R. Pelke of your office on August 3,1983, we now anticipate that we will be complete with the review of the Safety Systems by September 30, 1983, the design modifications by December 1, 1983 and implementation of the modifications by March 24, 1984.
