inspections were performed in accordance with the test and inspection plans we
. submitted to you on April 5, 1984 and July 6, 1984, respectively, with several
" additions to_ incorporate conments received from the NRC and NRC concultants.
l As a result of the Extended Operation Test of the Catawba IB diesel. generator

and the extensive inspections conducted, and the similar tests and inspections
-of IA diesel which we previously reported to you, it is concluded that 1DI diesel generators' installed at Catawba will provide a reliable source of l
