Interim 10CFR50.55(e) Report: Gould Supplied Motor Control Starters (CDR 85-00-17)
Dear Sir:
In Reference (b), we reported a potential 10CFR50.55(e) deficiency regarding motor control starters supplied by Gould, Inc. (now Telemecanique).
Per manufacturer's direction, we are in the process of performing a 100%
reinspection of the subject motor starters utilized in Class 1E applications.
To date, we have inspected approximately 60% of the Class IE motor starters and have not identified any additional starters with the potential deficiency. The reportability evaluation of this item and corrective action, if necessary, will be decided when our inspection is completed.
We will submit an additional report to Region I by March 31, 1986. This letter is being flied pursuant to the interim reporting provisions of 10CFR50.55(e).
